 Spring eggs, the symbol of re-birth in the circle of life. These guys are just bustin' out!

 Well, it was so pretty today I just had to get down in the woods. A pair of mallards were on the pond, so I went around instead of disturbing them. Hopefully they'll nest there.

 Down in the swamp, the braken ferns are sending their fronds forth into the world! Another form of birthing as they struggle out of their brown wrappers.
