Sunday dawned clear but quickly turned overcast and cold, so we took our time cleaning up and packing, then just headed home. We did go a different route, which took us through Holmes County - Amish country. Of course, being Sunday, no one was out and about, and all the shops were closed. We did see one horse and buggy.
The corn fields were put to bed for the winter with these pyramids of stalks. And the horses in the fields were beautiful - they keep the sleek carriage horses as well as the huge draft horses. Farms are kept up well, looking very prosperous.
