SUNDAY, APRIL 5,2015
 The flowering cherry tree on our driveway was lovely, as usual. The pale pink blossoms are just now beginning to falter and brown. Soon the grass below will be white with fallen petals.


The bark is gnarly and covered with lichen, presenting a contrast to the soft pinkness of the petals.
