 The bulbs Barb got from Mrs. Newlin's driveway are blooming - from what I can find, they appear to be the Pink Fawn Lily (Erythronium revolutum), which is native to the NW coast.

And here is the big-leaf maple bud, all bursted out. It seems unusual to me that the leaves and the flowers are paired in the same bud, but it looks cool. Here's the photo of the bud as it was on March 29th.
