There's still quite a bit of water in the pond - unusual for this late in the summer, plus we haven't had any rain for over 45 days. Of course, last year, the year of no summer, it didn't dry up either. But at least we've had a nice run of sunny weather - and it hasn't been too hot, either!
Awe enables us to perceive in the world intimations of the divine, to sense in small things the beginning of infinite significance, to sense the ultimate in the common and simple, to feel in the rush of the passing the stillness of the eternal.
