SOOOO hot - up to 90! Us poor northwesterners are quite unused to this, so I didn't even go outdoors today. Yesterday I had visited an open studio, and made a mono-print. The result is above - it's a fun and fast technique - you can layer different colored inks, add texture with rubber stamps or any method of scraping off some of the color, and add a focal point with a rubber stamp, or whatever! I have signed up for a class where we will make books: from creating a print for the cover, adding the pages, and sewing the binding. Should be fun! It's at the Sweetwater Creek Farm Studios.
