One of the lowest tides of the year, -3.2! That means the water is 3.2 feet below mean sea level, and the high tides go up to +9, which means the sand we were standing on is more than 12 feet deep when the tide is high. Hard to picture!
Parts of the beach are shallow and sandy, and there's a lot of acreage exposed when the tide goes out.
This was a teeny tiny little very green fishy - exactly matching the seaweed floating there, too!
Cody found a nice kelp attached to a clam shell.
