You know I'm happy when berries get ripe! These thimbleberries are right outside my back door, so I can eat all the ripe ones right away every day. Yum!
The kitties come out with me, but the swallows chase them, so they find refuge under the deodora tree, while the birds swoop alarmingly close! Better keep an eye on those nasty birdies . . . although I did find a small pile of feathers under the tree, too.
Awe enables us to perceive in the world intimations of the divine, to sense in small things the beginning of infinite significance, to sense the ultimate in the common and simple, to feel in the rush of the passing the stillness of the eternal.
