Cory and Jon took down some of the willow trees that started leaning across the driveway, so I went down to harvest some bark. It was interesting to see the tops of the trees - the catkins have matured and are producing seed fluff, like the cottonwoods.
Awe enables us to perceive in the world intimations of the divine, to sense in small things the beginning of infinite significance, to sense the ultimate in the common and simple, to feel in the rush of the passing the stillness of the eternal.
