During a brief bout of sunshine, I stopped by the old "Fin & Feather", now "Earth Sanctuary" for the reflections. This pond is always calm, and of course I love the surrounding swamp.
At one side was a small overflow ditch, which beavers had begun to dam up. Not quite sure what they would hope to accomplish, since the pond is already there . . .
