I always feel bad for you (well, maybe not that bad) on the days when I don't take a photo, so, although I didn't get around to picking up my camera today (I did get a lot of housework done!), I have a photo from a couple of days ago at the Greenbank farm that I really liked. Ididn't notice the ant until I looked at the photos at home. It is a type of vetch, Vicia villosa, or woolly vetch, which is sometimes grown as a nitrogen-fixer and turned into the soil. Here, it competes in waves of color with the tall grasses.
