Sitting at a traffic light in Shoreline, I noticed this blue light on the back side. I have no idea why it's there! Or why it's blue . . .
But I was there for the Northwest Basket Weavers Guild meeting, where Dona Anderson showed and talked about her work, how she got started, and how she creates some of her artwork.
Here she is seen through the framework of one of her "Lace" structures, and below is one of her "Ruffles" pieces Pod, made of a metal shape covered with dress-pattern-paper cut in strips and glued to the shape.
