Yay! Another sure sign of spring - the pussy willows! This little bit of fuzz has a pink blush as it pushes it's way out of the covering. It always makes me smile to see them every year. We have several different species of willow, some are early and others later, so we have an on-going display. Sunny days hasten their hatching . . . today the groundhog saw his shadow. For what it's worth, that means 6 more weeks of winter. Here, we don't really have a separate spring season, so it's hard to judge. It will likely be cool and rainy off and on until July!
