I call these my fireworks flowers - they always bloom around the 4th, and they're tall spires with funny flowers poking out around the stem. I know what they are, but of course can't think of the name right now!
Haven't had a Buzz shot for a while - here he comes!
Sitting out on the lawn, watching an interesting sky, with the swallows swooping all around. We had quite a bit of thunder, but no visible lightening, and just a short patter of raindrops.
The deer are getting bolder and bolder, grazing in the lawn with us right there. Buzz has never been too interested in chasing them, and I guess they've figured that out, because they don't worry about him at all.
