It was cold and rainy most of today, and after all the activies of the past few days, it was nice to just sit inside by a warm fire. Later in the evening, we ventured out for a walk in the woods, and found a clump of spurred violets in the middle of a pathway. They are so pretty - Mom had some years ago, but hadn't seen any in quite a while, so this was a fun discovery.
