Well, as predicted, we woke up to a rainy world. By late afternoon, it had started to clear, and the view north up Holmes Harbor even showed sun for some lucky far-away folks!
The perfect cone shape of Mount Erie commands your attention even at 70 miles away. The gray day was reflected in the waters, the sailboats rocking back and forth around their tethers. A cold wind blew, encouraging me to scuttle back to the warmth of my car!
