It was a beautiful day today - sunny and warm! And, it's going to be like this for the weekend, too! How nice! So I played hookey in the middle of the day and took Buzz for a long walk in the woods. These tiny fungi crowded the moss on a stick.
And this furry guy was in a hurry to cross the driveway, but I kept putting my camera in front of him. I didn't catch it, but he would raise his head (on the left) when he heard the noise the camera made.
And, there were mushrooms everywhere!! Most of the cedar trees, like this one, had a miniature forest of these large mushrooms around the trunk. Then, there were other types and sizes everywhere I looked. I have never seen so many mushrooms around here!
