The False Lily-Of-the-Valley, Maianthemum dilatatum, (which means Mayflower) are blooming near Grandma's pond - just carpeting the forest floor. They like damp shade, I guess, since they don't grow anywhere else. They have pretty leaves, too, when the flowers are gone. They're a ground cover, and have berries that turn red in the fall.
