Tulips and the sun! What better combination. I had to take some photos now, before the deer eat the blooms, like they did last year! Had a great, warm, sunny day today - thoughts are turning to digging and planting and cleaning out beds. This maidenhair fern grows next to my front door, and is looking for light - really leaning over! Later, when the sun rises further to the north, it will get more morning light, and become lush and full.
It actually loves this spot, because it is also next to the water faucet, so it gets plenty of moisture all summer.
