Our exciting news today is the new range is installed, and already we've baked biscuits and cooked carrots and beef! It is excellent! Our old range was just falling apart - we couldn't even remember when we bought it, it's been so long ago! One of the things we liked best about this is the continuous grate over the burners.

It's rainy and foggy today, and the coyotes are on the move. We had 3 come through together today, and when Buzz went out to bark at them, they came toward him instead of running away! Of course, he turned tail and came inside, but he is a very prudent dog. We've also found a trail of chicken feathers in the driveway, so we'll be keeping an extra sharp eye on the cats!
