Mild weather continues. I was out meeting with clients, and stopped by a job site on the way home. There was an amazing amount of storm damage along this road - lots of young alder trees on both sides of the road had come down. There was debris and the chainsaw-cut ends of trunks everywhere. This wooded gully was especially hard hit - the tree trunks lying every which-way like pick-up-sticks.
Luckily the house was being built in a clearing far enough away from any falling trees, so it had no damage. I love seeing the houses under construction - the repetition of the framing and trusses - these are scissor trusses, and the ceiling will be sloped when it's finished.
