We finally are warming up a bit - still in the 40's, and very windy today. The ice is sloooowly melting in the ponds, and creating some wonderful patterns. Although there is clear water all around the shores, the center still has quite a bit of slushy ice. The ice crystals form around the edge of the ice when it gets below freezing again at night.Thursday, January 18, 2007
