Another sunny day! And no fog this morning, just a clear blue sky. But the other side of having clear skies is that it freezes at night. Lots of frost! This lichen-covered alder tree came down in the winter storms, and I've been trying to get some nice artistic photos of it. So today was it - frost on the branches and lichens, sun shining through the trees... There are so many different lichens on the limbs - what a diverse species.
Even the blackberry brambles look lovely with their frosty icing.
