On the flight from Seattle to Akron, the sunrise as viewed through the airplane window from the far side of the plane.

We went out to lunch, and on the way home stopped at the heron rookery to see how big the babies are in the nests.

Cory and I are on our way to Ohio tonight, to spend time with our family and attend Dad's memorial.

We took the overnight flight, and this was a city by a river. The time stamp on the photo suggests it was about half-way between Seattle and Charlotte, NC. I liked how the roads radiated out from the river.

The view from my seat on the front porch this sunny June morning. The hummingbird was just here, hovering in this space, looking at me and wondering where her feeder full of sugar water is! Well, much as I love seeing them, I prefer to let them find red flowers on their own. She did work over the wisteria, but it is just about done, so I think not much nectar left.

Looking lower, the ferns are really reaching for the sun!

Some of the clover in the yard is a delicate shade of pink - and also lovely in front of the sunset.

Love to see the honey bees busy on my volunteer blackcap bush!

 The wisteria are blooming - I now have three separate vines, and they smell heavenly! This one has a lot of white, while the others are more purple. They take several years to begin blooming - this is the first big year for this one. Last year there were maybe two flowers, but now it's loaded!

The latest house I am working on, just about finished. In fact, we got the final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy today! The granite counters are covered with paper and blue tape - the cleaners will be in here tomorrow, and then it will really look nice. Stove and fridge to be installed shortly. New owners to move in next week! Yippee!
