While we were looking for garage sales, there was still a little fogbank in Useless Bay.

 Earlier, we went to Barb's friend Lynn's house to take photos of her beautiful garden!

OK, reprieve from the little kitty - thistles are starting to bloom, and attracting the bees.

 While Apollo hides out in the tall grass, where he has been spending his days away from the new kitten!

 OK - here's your warning! There will likely be lots and lots of kitten photos for a while! He's just too cute. 

"I wasn't climbing on the curtain . . . not me"

 Got a new kitten yesterday - one of Cory's friends was given it, and they already have 3 cats, so it needed to find a new home. I decided it was time for a baby, so here he is. We don't have a name yet,

 but he sure is cute! He is a little shy when someone comes, but he soon gets over it, and is very playful and active.

 Unfortunately, Apollo hasn't been won over yet! He tends to lay on the floor and whip his tail around, and that was just too much temptation for the kitten. Apollo got upset when he kept pouncing at him, so he has been keeping himself pretty scarce. I think they'll get along well eventually.

My friend Robin came over this afternoon and we attempted to wrap beach rocks with cane. Some designs were easier than others, but we had a good time trying! And I think we'll both try again, and will also always be on the lookout for that perfect rock!

 Finally - summer days are here! Time to wash the dog, sit on the swing, and hang out in the sun.
