 This crow, and his friends, had some larger bird cornered in these trees right outside my window. They literally spent the whole day cawing at it - probably taking turns, because I can't imagine one bird cawing non-stop for 14 hours. It was distinctly annoying. I didn't know what it was about until I went out to yell at it, and flushed the larger bird. The rest of the crows followed it a few yards to another tree and re-commenced the cawing. A lost caws, my friend said! I was sure glad they didn't come back the next day!
Apollo was unconcerned with all the racket, taking advantage of the tall grass in the meadow.
