My book group met tonight, and the book was "Blessed are the Cheesemakers." Unfortunately, the copy I ordered from the library didn't come in, so I haven't read it yet, but will as soon as it comes. Sometimes it's more fun to listen to the discussion, and THEN read the book!

The group all liked it, terming it a bit fluffy, but magical. We ended up with some good discussions.

We also had a cheese pot-luck, which was well worth the evening! Everyone brought different kinds of cheeses, along with crackers, bread and fruit - it was fun to taste them all. I brought sweet crackers spread with lightly sweetened cream cheese, topped with black huckleberries I picked in the mountains last summer. It turned out to be the perfect ending to our cheese meal!
