I'm slowly making progress on my basket - it's taking me a while, because I'm trying to figure out design as I go, and some of the technical parts aren't working out as well as I wish. But, I've got most of it figured, dyed some more reed, and should be able to finish it up pretty quickly. The theme is the four elements (just like the photo journal books!): earth, fire, water, air. I have the brown reed signifying the beach, red (on the far left) the sunset, for fire, the greens are the waves lapping at the shore, and the next layer will be the night sky, for air.
