This morning was our Surface Design Organization meeting. It's a meet-up of local members of the international organization, and always fun and informative. After discussing any business, it's show and tell time! Everyone is doing such different things - makes you want to try everything, but of course there's never enough time! Carol hosted it this month, and gave a great presentation of her work, showing her studio and describing some of her methods. Here's she's showing a quilt she made for an auction, where the proceeds are going to benefit African fabric dyers, whose fabric she used in the quilt, along with some of her own fabrics.
